Catch-Up of Routine and School-Based Immunizations
Vaccine Catch Up is Now Available!
At Georgina Grace Family & Walk-In Centre, we understand how important it is for students to stay on top of their vaccinations. We’re thrilled to announce that we’re offering School Vaccine Catch-Up during our regular lab hours, making it more convenient for students and families in our community to get the vaccines they need. Our goal is to help prevent delays, avoid school suspensions, and protect the health and well-being of our students. We are offering doses of routine vaccines including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Polio as well as the vaccines missed in the Grade7 program (Hepatitis B, Meningitis, HPV).
Why catching up on vaccines is important
Keeping up with vaccinations is critical for preventing outbreaks of contagious diseases in schools and other community spaces. However, life can sometimes get in the way—scheduling conflicts, travel, or health-related concerns might lead to missed vaccines. This catch-up clinic offers a solution for students or preschoolers who may have fallen behind on their vaccines.
By offering this service during our walk-in hours, we aim to provide flexibility and convenience for busy families. We want to ensure that no child is at risk of being suspended from school due to incomplete immunization records.
